Have you ever wondered about fasting? Have you ever tried it? Perhaps you saw Muslim co-workers and friends fast and worried about how they do it?
Are you aware of the education systems around the world? Want to show your support for education for all, especially those in Nigeria?
WELL THEN THIS EVENT IS JUST FOR YOU!!!
Pitt's Muslim Student Association, co-hosting with Pitt's African Student Organization this year, is holding their 5th Annual Fast-A-Thon and the theme is EDUCATION. Come for the fasting experience, to learn about what's happening in education in Nigeria, and to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Sign up to fast with us for a day to promote awareness around campus and bring in old textbooks to help build a library in Nigeria!
Fast from dawn to dusk: 5:41am to 6:09pm and come to the William Pitt Union ballroom on Friday, February 27th for a FREE, delicious meal to break our fast and learn more about the education and its role in Islam and what we can do to help! Come talk about your experience fasting and bring books for the book drive!
