Join us to learn how to effectively communicate with the media in a way that represents the positive presence of Muslims in US society! This workshop will benefit all in a position to be interviewed by the media, or to contribute to the media (TV, Radio, Print, Web, Wire Services) as officials or as individual community members who have a voice that they want to be heard.

Guest Trainer, Brother Ibrahim Hooper is CAIR National’s Communication Director. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s of art in journalism and mass communication. Hooper has been with CAIR since its founding in 1994. As CAIR’s spokesman he appears frequently on national and international television programs to offer an Islamic perspective on current events or debate controversial issues.
