Come join Pitt MSA for our 1st annual Alumni Networking Conference!
Since re-establishment in 1997, the MSA and the University have accumulated a vast network of alumni who have gained various experiences in their respected professions. With such a rich resource available to us, why not take advantage of it?
With this event, we hope to provide current members a chance to network and learn from past members, and for alumni, we hope to create an environment reconnect with old classmates and network as well.
Each year during the month of Ramadan, the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh invites the greater Pittsburgh community to join their members in breaking their fast and recognizing those in Pittsburgh that have contributed to bridging relations between communities in our beautiful city. The Islamic Center is pleased to have as their featured speaker, Ihsan Bagby. Dr. Bagby is Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky. His research for the last 10 years has focused on Muslims in America. He is a board member on the Council of Islamic Relations.
The public is welcome to visit the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh to listen to a diverse group of Muslims from the Pittsburgh community and to exchange ideas.
Every Friday the public is welcome to join the MSA for their weekly joint prayer at 2 PM in William Pitt Student Union. During Islam Awareness Week, a speaker will give an explanation about the prayer along with the regular service. All welcome to attend!
